  • What's in your World?

    I no, don't say it! I have been away way to long! Spending to much time on face book. Not anything to write about, starting to be a sad song that no one wants to hear.

    The best news I have is the birth of our eight great-grand child! He is a cutie but all were hoping for a girl. Seven boys and one very spoiled girl!

    I am still chasing that little white ball around. No better but a lot worse! It's a shame I love the game so much. I have thought about not keeping score but then no  challenge.

    I suppose by now all of you have heard that Bama is now tied for #1. I DON'T NO HOW, THEIR LAST TWO GAMES THEY WERE AWFUL AND STILL WON!

  • We have rain!

    It's been raining sense late yesterday afternoon! No complaints, it's needed! It seems when it starts we get a good soaking!

    I did get all the grass cut at the lake and church. Church is going well we got four new volunteers that are a tremendous help and cuts down on how long it takes to get the job done.

    Hard to believe another month has flown by! Winter will be here before you no it. Winter here is not that bad but I'm just not a winter person.

    We were suppose to go to friends in Tenn. but my wife came down with a bad cold. It will be October before we get another chance to go. Then you have to watch the weather traveling.

  • Long week

    As always the week has flown by but the work made it seem longer. Repairing equipment and cutting grass with a cold and a bad case of  poison ivy has taken its toll on me this week. Today is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice  in it! I had a good nights sleep and fell, better today. Thank you Lord! Have a great day and week everyone!

  • Thankful for a day of rest

    My post are getting further and further apart. This has been a long work week. My son is working O.T. preparing  for the students return to the University. This is his second weekend to have to work,and has one more weekend to go.

    This has put a extra load on me trying to keep up with all the grass cutting. It takes me 5 hours at the lake, 5 hours at church and three hours at home. This doesn't sound like much but it wares me out! 

    Now that school has started back that's another 12 ours a week. Oh I forgot about golf every week! Got to have some me time! However as bad as I'm playing it is getting to be work!

    One bright spot in my life is the children

    Granddaughter is so beautiful! The baby is due late September. This will make seven boys and one girl!
